I am adding a 4X8 mutliswitch to my Direct TV setup. I need some more DBS receivers. I don't need any fancy features, I just want the basics for all the bedrooms in my house. They already gave me 2 Phillips DSX 5353 units. I was looking for more and also found many brands including Sony, RCA, Samsung and Gaebo. http://www.americansatellite.com/pro...TR51&CAT=11100

They all seem about the same price, $70-$80. The Gaebo is small and that would convienient for a few of my applications. I have never heard of them though.

So are these things all the same, or are some better than others?

GAEBO is the model name of a Hughes built receiver the replacement to the E-11/25/45 line.

All of the DirecTV recievers are basically the same you really cant go wrong with any of them, IMHO.
