Extron DVS 204D ?

Any one have one of these ? It has SDI input and scales to 1080P. Would this be a better scaler than CS-1 or CS-2 for my Barco Graphics 1209 ? I also could run it to my Toshiba 65HDX82 rear projection TV in the family room which will accept 720P signal. The extron scaler has a five wire and vga out that will output silmultaneously . I need to get HDTV signal to 3 different rooms, haven't quite figured out how to do it. The 3rd TV is A Samsung 42" widescreen in the office.

Can't say about the quality issue since I have not seen the CS1 or 2.


The CS series will be more home theater friendly (on screen menus, etc.) than the Extron.


To do the multiroom out, you need a distribution amplifier. Extron makes these too.
