Hi all. I just installed my Extron 109plus. I have the gain set at zero. The cable run from the extron to the PJ is about 12 feet...should i use 1/2 or 1 gain?

I am using a Barco 808s...


Seems fine with gain at zero by the way.

I think that the gain switch on the 109 is a combination gain/peaking control switch. With only a 12 foot run I'd leave it at zero, the higher settings will likely give an image that has some "ringing" at the edge of objects due to the high frequency gain added by this switch.
