Hello all,

I'm a new CRT owner, and I have to say digital doesn't compare. While DVD's look great, I cant seem to get anything out of my Hipix. I thought it was because the Hipix was using positive synch, so I bought an extron 120. However, unlike when I use a BNC breakout to connect to my PJ, when I use the extron I get zilch. I have the same result with an extron 109. Can anyone help?

I think we talked before in the HTPC forum. I can’t understand what could be wrong. I had my Barco 800 directly connected to my HiPix with no problem at all. I assume you are using the loopback cable and have the HiPix set to use it in the Config dialog box, you must also have it set to output RGB in the HiPix program. I think you said it works when connected to a computer monitor. Can you get the HTPC to work on input 5 on the Barco?

Edit: I just read your old post in the HTPC forum and you replied that it does work when connected RBGHV but would not work with composite sync. I am afraid I can’t help you there. Have you tried using a BNC “T†connector on the sync signals? I know that a few people with Dish 6000 HD STB’s use a “T†to combine the sync.
