F8500 Loud Buzzing ! - 2 replacements issue persists advice needed.

Purchased the Samsung PS51F8500 at the beginning of January this year - absolutely loved it at first glance , fantastic picture both 2D and 3D .... unfortunately there is an extremely loud buzz coming from this set which can be heard over loud volumes over 8ft away - now I've always had plasma displays and actually upgraded to this model from an older Samsung 50" plasma which I bought around 2 year ago and in hindsight i'm actually gutted I sold that set and opted to upgrade because this F8500 that everyone is raving about has been nothing but a headache !
Now this isn't your normal plasma buzz which i'm used to , this is unbearable and only gets worse the brighter the picture and because it fluctuates in frequency you just cant ignore it. I arranged for a Samsung technician to come out and after listening to the set recommended I get it replaced as he agreed it was unusually loud - after contacting the retailer for a replacement they no longer had it in stock , so fast forward 2 weeks and my new set arrives and unfortunately it has the same issue...
I've literally tried everything , repositioning the TV , tightening / loosening all the screws at the back , making sure no cables are touching the case , reducing contrast/brightness down to minimum - even holding thick cushions behind the vents at the back to try dampen the sound nothing works.
I'm now submitted to the fact that although I love the TV's picture I cant deal with the buzzing sound (and cant accept this as my previous Samsung plasma nor my mates pioneer plasma buzz this way) that it will have to be returned - problem being I'm at a loss now for what I should get for my new TV
I've looked at Panasonic TX-P50VT65 as a possible alternative or paying a few extra quid for a Samsung UE55F8000 (LED) - the only thing stopping me from picking the latter is after spending so long with plasma's , am I going to be disappointed with an LED? - I use my TV for both watching movies and gaming (PS4) , we have a rounded surrounding leather sofa so viewing angle is another thing that also concerns me , has anyone got any recommendations ?

I appreciate the reply but suspect you may not of read my question as this doesn't answer it , although related to the same fault.
I've just went into my local currys to have a look at the F8000 55" LED and although its £300.00 more expensive then the 8500 plasma the picture is really bad in comparison. I hd the tech guy demo the avengers for me and wasn't impressed at all , my current plasma display is much better so im no further forward !

I don't think you would enjoy any of the current LED tv's out there. Edge lit tvs are just terrible. Poor blacks and clouding issues. The only one that rival plasma are the FALD LED tv's like the Sony XBR-X950B coming out this spring. It will be expensive though.
I still can't believe how poor most displays are, after so many years after the demise of CRTs

Other than plasma & some 24" & less PC monitors (S-IPS) - to my eyes LCD & LED TVs are horrid
Projectors are not an option in my case...

I figured you would be best served going to a dedicated F8500 thread that has many more posts about all F8500 buzzing.
BTW according to other posts, more 60" buzz than 64" & it is rare to see a post about unacceptable PS51F8500s that buzz!
There is a post somewhere on the other F8500 large threads whereby someone is claiming that adjusting voltages on some electronic thingamajig
at the rear of the set with back removed, cures the buzz totally - no one responded to that post
I know you are pissed & frustrated, as a lot of us buzzer owners are,
but I suggest that you would be much better served not to negatively judge others, that may actually be trying to help you, as best they can

If your situation is as serious as you've attempted to claim then it should be I'd think a little easier to ID the source than the usual "buzz" that is said to be part of plasma "pride". My 3 Samsung plasma displays haven't had issues. Sometime ago I mentioned that I thought an automotive type stethoscope might aid in locating the particular vicinity of the source. Will it? Not having the issues there's been no need for me to try. Is it on the stand or wall mounted? I believe it can make a difference. I'm guessing on the stand but you didn't actually mention that. You also mention that the one you have presently can be made worse and fluctuates. If you can "control" the issue I certainly believe it should be easier to maybe diagnose the issues. Are the builds of the same date?
I believe I'd attempt to resolve the issues of what you've got presently - you've had a Samsung technician previously. Did he appear knowledgeable or just "agreed" to get past you and on to the next service call? If you felt he was informed request him again. I'd make it known you'd rather NOT be a guinea pig and if their thoughts are just guesses reserve the option of a replacement again, It's said the 3d time is a charm.
Have the Samsung technician do a check of the display with their diagnostic procedure and see if there's maybe really an issue. Is the display still on the firmware it was delivered with? What is it? How many updates old is it? Your display I imagine is much different than the US display regarding the firmware so there's a good bit to be checked I'd think.
Also I'd think if yours is as serious as you've mentioned it could certainly be measured. What is the db of the "buzz"? The Samsung technician should be able to measure. I wouldn't purchase the tool for just a "one time" hopefully use. They aren't outrageously priced though. I don't recall the range of the one I have but it wasn't expensive.

i agree i have panasonic px75u(2007) plasma a pioneer elite pro-111 plasma (2008) and samsung plasma 60pnf5300 (2014) and none buzz .
