One quote from Allard was something like how the end cost of the system is fixed and if they add a feature here they had to cut cost somewhere else to stay within the pre-determined cost.
It is interesting to couple that quote with his other quotes that they may remove the hdd in future versions. Why would they remove the hdd? Well, to add another feature and still come under the same cost of course! What new feature could they add? Well, it's already been said that they could add a next gen optical drive. Sounds like they are making those decesions NOW!
