I have 2 ReplayTV 5504's and hadn't noticed the signal passed through the Replay was having color fading until I was hooking one up yesterday. I'm not too picky and I'm not using any premium cabling but I noticed that when comparing the raw cable signal to the output of my 5504 the color was much more faded.
I'm splitting the signal to the TV and Replay and was flipping back and forth to see the difference. Regardless to the quality to begin w/ the colors are more faded when passing through the replay.
Is there any way to tune the colors in the Replay or improve its output? I'm using coax in and RCA out, and I can't imagine the RCA being the weak link since it should be better than coax at least.
