i have a psb 5.1 speaker system that is 12 year old a guy i work with wants to but the speakers and the marantz sr880 receiver also what do you guys think is a fair price? here is what i got

the speakers are in good shape no scratches on them i have over 2k in this system 12 years ago when i got it so whats fair $750.00 ?

Search PSB on audiogon for current listings and approximate a market value. I only saw one Century model, it was a center channel, 1998 model, that sold for $150.

It depends on their condition and what they sold for back then. We didn't carry PSB back then, so I have no idea what they sold for. However, most used speakers go for roughly 30-50% off retail if they are still a current model. I would just have him make you an offer that you think you could live with and tell him to enjoy his speakers.

tks ttwon.. if i give them the speakers at 50% that would be 625.00 plus the marantz..
