Hi all,
After days of researching meditating, measuring, praying and buying, I've decided to build an acoustically transparent fake wall to put my speakers behind. I plan to use 2x2s to make a frame where I'll attach my (acoustically transparent) projection screen and acoustically transparent speaker fabric.
The problem is, I can't figure out how to make the wall "moveable". What I mean is that I want to be able to move the wall and get behind it to do stuff. I wont be doing it often (once everything is setup I wont have a reason to go back. May be if a speaker dies and has to be replaced), but I do need access.
How do you guys handle it? Are there instructions somewhere? I can potentially build a door. Another option was to drill 2x2s in the wall, put Velcro on them and then use Velcro to "stick" panels onto the frame. That way I can remove those panels and get behind to get stuff done.
I dont care if access is comfortable. It just has to be (barely) big enough for me to get behind and to potentially move speakers / receiver etc. in and out.
Thanks.
