Just went to the FCC website, to check on some stations' status, and found this:
"Federal Communications Commission
The FCC is currently conducting a test to ensure the continuous performance of essential functions/operations during an actual emergency. Once the test has concluded, the normal FCC homepage will be available.
In the event that an emergency or other situation precludes normal FCC operations from the main headquarters building in Washington DC, the FCC has taken measures to protect essential equipment, records, and other assets, and FCC Bureaus and Offices will continue their essential functions from an alternate facility, providing continuity of FCC's business operations throughout any disruption."
I guess we can be thankful that some parts of the Government are ready for "whatever".
