How do you know if ferrite beads will help out?


I did a little looking around and the best I could find was the radio guys could tell if a certain frequency was being effected. They then could tune out the problem with the beads. There was one thread where a guy was telling how to go through your computer and peripherals to see if it was effecting any of their radio gear.


What about us in the video department, anyway to tell if RFI is effecting the image?

I wonder if you could throw up a pattern and start trying beads in different places to see what happens to the image. You could even take it beyond that, put a pattern that would be most likely to show problems and start unpluging things, like the keyboard, printer, monitor, stereo and other things around the house.
