can i use a regular tv splitter to have multiple tuners on it? can i use rg 59 coupled to a rg 6 as the wire?

Yes, you can use a TV splitter for FM if it will split VHF in two. FM is between TV channels 6 and 7. Yes, you can use RG59 coupled to RG6. They both have 75 ohm characteristic impedance.

If you are anywhere near the FM transmitters, I would recommend RG-6. RG-59 only has a single shield layer, and most FMs transmit so much power that they will "ingress" into the cabling. This causes a good bit of "multipath"-type distortion, since the signal coming from the antenna slows down about 33% compared to the signal that is leaking in to the cable.
