I tried the 4-21-2003 build with TT and had some menu navigation issues.

There is now a 4-22-2003 build available. I might try that one.

Tried the 20030422 build.

Same deal, TT starts up fine but I have menu navigation issues. It works fine with the 20021213 build.

It's starting to look like a case of if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I think someone said the last official build was the fastest and the alpha's were slower. This is probably because the alpha builds have debug enabled in visual c++ when they were compiled.

Makes sense really, but I could be wrong ;)

I didn't forget but I thought I had seen somewhere that it wasn't required. If it is I'll install it and try again.

redmodel, did you notice if the performance was better or worse?

The latest builds are not slower. Some are compiled using the Intel Compiler (which throws in a few SSE2 vectorizations if your CPU can handle it).

But not all builds are compiled that way, so standard compilation may be a bit slower for some of the functions.

But this latest build is not really ready, i've noticed quite a few issues with some of the filters.

I tried the 422 version and the broader problem still exist. However, I have an impression that the TomsMoComp's quality is improved a lot.
