my system:

3500+ cpu, 1 gig ram, nvidia 7800gt vid card. my tv is 720p native.

i have theatertek using ffdshow to post process.

when i use ffdshow to resize my screen, i can only get 1344 x 752 to work (all other resolutions have alot of underscan). also, my cpu usage is at 100% as shown by the OSD.

i know this isn't much information to work with, but anyone have any thoughts as to what's going on?

In FFDshow’s resize settings, do you have “no aspect ratio correction†checked?

FFDshow’s OSD is no good for determining CPU usage. What does Windows Task Manager say your CPU usage is?

If the only thing you’re doing with FFDshow is a 2X resize, then yes, I would say 75% is rather high. Try putting “unsharp mask†with a setting of “1†above resize and see if that lowers the CPU load.
