Can I use ffdshow to improve the quality of DVD playback from MCE2005 or MediaPlayer 10?

I've installed the nVidia 4.0 codec and it is great! Before I install ffdshow, I am wondering if anyone knows if it will indeed improve the quaility even more.

I have not tryed it, but one guy from Microsoft said you cannot use ffdshow in WMP10. You only can use it in other media players like Zoom Player.


This was said in a thread about windows MCE2005. Search this forum and you should find it. The guy from Microsoft is ChrisL01, or something similar...
