This might seem like an odd question, but I finally got around to purchasing fight night, I played it before but never bought it, found it for 19.99 anyway.


It still is alot of fun, but for the life of me I cannot firgue out how to stop the tie up or clinch.


Whenever I play against someone we know just to clinch when our player is stunned because we dont know how to break it when someone does it, or how to prevent it.


I played against the computer and they seem to be able to shove me before i can even tie up and I have no idea how they do this.


If anyone can help please let me know, I cannot find an answer, except press up, but this does not really seem to be working.

When your opponent goes in for the clinch, counter with a clinch of your own. If you time it right, you will push them away.

So Y definately works, I have seen so many conflicting things, I even tried doing it by myself on two controllers, but didnt have any luck.
