Well after 4 phone calls to Sony customer service about my A10's cooling fan being very noisy I am getting a Refurb. replacement.No authorized service center is close enough to me to come look at tv.This really is not what I want.I bought a new tv & think my replacement should be new,not someone elses problem tv thats been fixed & boxed up.Seems like I am letting Sony off the hook way to easy.Should I call them back & request a new tv,refund or just shut up & take what they give me?Thanks

How old is your TV? If it were a year old or less, I would be shouting for a new TV too. I would let them know that you didn't buy a TV off Ebay, or a floor model, or one in the local paper because you wanted a brand new TV. You paid more money for a new TV, and you want what you paid for!


In your 4 phone calls, I'm sure you have brought this up to them...what was their reaction?

TV is almost a year old.What really bugs me is I checked Sonys Outlet site & Refurb. tv like mine is over 1,000 less than what I paid for it a year ago.Makes me really bummed that even if I sell the refurb. its not worth anything really.Really kinda make me bitter against Sony.
