The RIAA and MPAA are increasing their attempts to get ISPs to cut off users who are using Internet file sharing services to swap copyrighted audio and movies. One of the five major record labels along with other unnamed customers are using MediaForce and Copyright.net (beware of huge pop-up) to hunt down copyright infringers and then sending notification letters to ISPs reporting them. Twentieth Century Fox took the initiative itself and warned ISPs that distribution of "Planet of the Apes" clips is not authorized and asked ISPs to stop the distribution.
