Filter for AE700?

Hello,

I did a search after search, people kept saying about to reach a CR of 2000:1 you need a filter, but no mention of what filter (And what's a filter anyway?). So, What filter do I need to reach a CR of 2000:1 for AE700? What brand and what model, I have no idea, please help.

You did not search very hard if you missed the massive AE700 Tweek Thread that is after all a "sticky" on this very forum. Check out the last few pages of this enormous thread that specifically is talking about your very question.

I just order the filter - B+W 77mm KR-6 81EF from bhphotovideo.com

Just wondering, would it fit on to the AE700 as in twist it in, or I have to use tape to tape it on?

UPS delivers my bhphoto KR-6 81EF tomorrow. I think that the filter is threaded and can screw into the threads on the PJ. But I can't answer first hand till tomorrow.

when you get your filter, can you please take a screenshot - without the filter and with the filter, also what's your setting on your AE700?
