Comment: Good for you. You join the ranks of many others who have already taken the plunge. Now, can you quit pouting already?
I actually did this to help other who want's better audio to not just better picture, so i am very sorry if i offended you in anyway:confused:
I plan on doing a similar mod to my Meridian 598DP. JVB Digital can do it for $450. I found the actual board they use at Digital Connection. It's a PMS SDI board that goes for $150. Haven't decided which way to go yet.
In my first modification i used the PMS SDI card and that worked out fine, but i just wanted to really make an exclusive card that fits in the original slots and are made of the same quality components as the DVD30.

It's the PD6345A It's not the best MPEG decoder but with the new SDI card it produces a extremely clean picture.

We actually meant to change the MPEG decoder to but we tried the original first and found it to be very good.
Thanks. According to this, http://gate.crashing.org/~fray/DV-59AVi/DV-59AVi.html , it's the same as in the Pio 59avi.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. A very well done role playing videogame on both the Xbox or the PC.
