Hopefully, it will street at well under 3 grand. The major feature addition appears to be 3D. If you don't need that, the AE4000 is certainly still a viable option. Also the fact that the model number(at least in this country) is the AE7000, perhaps there will be other models under it.


Note: I realize this has aready been talked about in the AE4000 tread on this forum, but there are probably many people who don't normally read that thread, yet would still like to hear about the new model.

yeah, I wouldn't pay a premium for 3d myself, I think they will have a 5000 for us non-3d peeps.

It was mentioned that Panasonic will be releasing other projectors that are 2D only along with the release of the AE7000 so I dunno....


Guess that gives us a couple months to save up!
