Can anybody tell me,where i can find the Firmware and the Flashsoftware for Marantz SR5002??I have no warranty anymore and I dont want to pay for it

I far as I've read firmware for that years model needs to be sent in to an authorized dealer for doing those upgrades. I know thats the way it was with the 7002/8002. Contact a local dealer to confirm though.

I´m searching for the H8downloader.exe and the .inf or.mot file (firmware) for the microprocessor IC11 in the AV/Receiver SR-5002.

I have to reflash the Processor,because i think the files in the flash are corrupted.the receiver won´t power on and the stand-by LED is blinking fast,but there is no protection-alert inside.I did some measurements inside the unit.All fuses inside are ok and in the Amp-stage is no short in the circuit.

I´ve tried to reset the unit with all available tricks Multi+ATT,3Button Clear,exit,surround,and power on with remote.No chance.

Need this software.....

That unit will possibly need a "dongle" type connection to do the upgrade. Good luck finding something like that. That's why I said it problably needs to be done by an authorized service center. This is also one of the reasons I dropped the 8002 from my search for a new AVR. They were still being sent out at the time with the old firmware and had to be sent in for the firmware upgrade. No way I was going to spend $2K for a AVR that needed upgrades before I could even use it. Good luck. I hope you find what you need.
