Hi

I have the Toshiba HD-E1, and I just can't get the update working

This is the error code I get

I think it is very annoying that Toshiba does not offer the upgrades as file downloads

Any thoughts would be appreciated

what update are you trying to do? What version do you have now?Most ARE available as iso's.

I think I have version 1.1

I know files can be downloaded for American players, but the HD-E1 is European

I assume I can't just use the update file for the HD-A2 (the American counterpart)?

Do you have a link to these files?

Yeah - since the E1 is R2 PAL (DVD). I would be surprised if they used the same firmware.
