I'm setting up my first HT, and I need some tips on speaker selection. My room is about 12x16 and I have a budget of 5-7k for speakers. Because of the shape of my room, I think a 5.1 settup will be ideal. I have read a lot about Paradigm, but I haven't bought any audio gear in over 10 years. Any other brands in this price range worth checking out.

b&w, totem, nht, i'd go directs for rears especially for multi-channel audio.

I almost forgot, we are about 85% movies, 15% music. Although I would listen to music a lot more often if I had a good system.
