Been lurking for a while and hope you guys could offer some suggestions. Picked up a used Yamaha rx-v559 and in testing everything out, found a dead left front channel when "B" speakers are selected. "A" works fine. What I would like to do is use this receiver for a bonus room system with the A fronts as part of a 5.1 setup, and the B fronts feeding a pair of deck speakers. I've reset to factory defaults, run the setup menus, checked test tones on all speakers and all work fine except the left front when B is selected. When I hooked up the speakers the first time, the + left front B was very difficult to open/close the binding post, as if the threads were stripped. While I suppose it's possible there could be mechanical damage inside if someone wrenched the post, where should I start? Any thoughts? Thanks and appreciate the site.
