i would like to put my new sub in the corner of my room about 30 ft from my receiver. i want to run the cable under the carpet but i dont know if there is a flat thin rca cable for doing such a thing. can anyone let me know of a good cable for doing this? thanks

I have not used this, but saw DeCorp DeWire mentioned in another thread and thought it looked pretty interesting: flat ribbon cable instead of round. Check out http://www.decorp.com/dewire.htm

The clumsy part looks like putting the connectors on the end.

It sure is flat though.

I thought about getting the same thing, but decided in the interim to just run regular sub cable (and speaker wire) under my pad and carpet. I ran it along the wall, parallel to the "tack strip". Bottom line, with fairly plush carpet and pad, you can't tell it's there. Problem solved...

12ga is about $2/foot, 18ga is about $1/foot. That something like 75% less than what Nordost goes for.
