I have posted in the flexraid forum, but have not gotten a response, so I thought I would ask here. I have a SnapShot Raid setup on WHS 2011 machine. I added two drives to my array and thought I screwed that up, so I removed via drive manager one of the drives and re-added to the pool. Here is the rub, when I did this, the drive now shows up as both drive K and drive I. The array now says I have nine drives when I have only 8, two of which are parity drives. When I look at the contents of the I drive in Drive Manager, it even shows Drive K (literally). Almost like it aliased the drive. Unformattely the aliased drive is also showing up as free space, which means the FlexRaid freespace caluation is off by 1.82TB (size of alias drive). Can anyone help? Should I just delete my configuration and start over? What about the data on my drives? Any guidance is much appreciated.
