Someone with knowledge about that? What happens if i turn on "Flickerless"? Can i get higher Hz?

TV: RU8000

It flicker at 120 Hz in game mode and also in movie mode. Only if i turn off Auto Motion Plus i get 240Hz in movie mode. But on older updates it was 240Hz i remember (rtings reviews). After an update it was only 120Hz.

Sorry for the necro, but I stumbled on the same option today when browsing the service menu to get rid of QN85A's local dimming bug. Searched the internet for information about it and all I found was this thread.

My TV gets the same PWM frequency drop when activating picture clarity, but from 960Hz to 120Hz, which is ridiculous. I won't change this option without being sure of what happens, but I wonder if improvement is possible... Any update on this?

that will disable the flicker PWM, no more flickering hence the name "flickerless" (and you'dp robably even get a little bit more of brightness cos no strobing anymore)

I know what it should do... the question is if it works. From what i heard it doesn't help. So no change in pwm and it is all the time flickering.
