Hi Everyone

I recently found some Klipsch RB-51's on sale at a local ABT store. I purchased the pair for $200. I'm currently using them with my Denon 1610 Receiver. I am looking to make this a 5.1 HT for my Mitsubishi 60" DLP. I would like to use the Klipsch's as the rears and put some floorstanding speakers with a center up front.

RB 51's: http://www.klipsch.com/na-en/products/rb-51-overview/

Denon 1610: http://www.usa.denon.com/ProductDetails/4865.asp

Budget: $750 for 2 x Floorstanding + Center

Room Size: 20 x 15

Current setup: Mitsubishi WD 60737 with 2 x Klipsch RB-51 & Denon 1610 Receiver

Any recommendations as to what would pair well with the Klipsch's? Looked at the Infinity Primus 252 & 362 - thought they sounded pretty good for the price. Thoughts?

That's a tough one but if you can find RF-52's and an RC-52 on sale you would get close to that budget. In my view if you started with Klipsch you might as well stick with 'em, they're great speakers! If you have a bit of room you could go with the larger RC-62 which would match up well.

You could also go with something the size of the 62s used, to get back to the price of the 52s...

I agree with above, if you want to match timbre (if you're using Rbs in the surrounds you might as well match the fronts to them... only reason I ever get away from that is to cheap out on the surrounds) stick with Klipsch...

Try posting in the Klipsch thread to see what other combos people come up with...

dwirish,

How are you liking your Mitsubishi TV? I was just looking at that one online from Best Buy. None of the BBs around here have one to see in person unfortunately. Looks like a lot of TV for the money!

I love it. By far the best electronics selection I've made in a long time. 60" screen is massive. Sports look great with 120hz, and the 1080p picture with blu ray is incredible. Pair it with a nice sound system and you truly have yourself a home theater.
