Btw, I had a pair of Fluance XL7F Towers and returned them as they proved to be a bit dull and boring sounding to me. In other words way too polite. Of course all ears are different and most will say you should listen for yourself and decide.

I'm highly recommended JBL's new Studio 2 series. Look for good photos on the web. I'm recommending them for their exceptional midrange clarity, sweet treble and rock solid imaging.

How is the bass?

I thought the XL7F bass was solid and seemed to work well within the cabinet. Sonic memory is short so I don't recall if it was just as tuneful as it was deep.
