I just noticed that while working on a 6 PG last week that you cant see the air buble in the fluid chamber.

I just looked at another pic of a 9PG and the same thing. You cant tell if theres coolent in the tube.

Is this because of the flange in front of the tube face where the lenses mount that it covers up more area then on a SONY 1031Q for example that if you look into the lenses even you could see the fluid level and small air buble at the top of the tube for expansion.

OR do they TOP off the fluid in those tubes which I thought was a big NO NO?

Interseting.
