For those who believe they have DLP sound sync issues

I was watching HBOHD last night on my Pioneer Plasma via D*. The sound was badly out of sync, so much that when they were bouncing a ball, the ball was in the air when you heard the sound:rolleyes: Point is, that if I had noticed this on my DLP, one would of been quick to blame it for the issue. I can see how one person blaming the DLP for this issue can lead to many more who may just be experiencing "program source" issue's blaming Sammy instead.

I was watching the same movie too, and noticed the same problem.

I switched between several different stations both HD and non HD and all of the other stations were in sync. Later on while watching a different show that evening the sync was perfect. I don't beleive that this is an issue with the TV, but in the source.
I, too noticed the problem on D* last night. It wasn't just HBO-HD. ESPNHD was out of synch at times during Playmakers and a couple of others to a much lesser extent.

People are way too quick to blame the TV because it's "newer" technology. I have yet to see a verifiable sound problem attributed to the DLP itself.
I was watching a recorded analog show last night. The sync was perfect when the program began. By the end of the show it was off by 10 frames.

I've seen the same thing happen watching live tv.
