I just received my VSX-912K in the mail and all I can figure is I got the Japanese model. The remote is completely different from the one pictured on Pioneer's website (no LCD, silver and rectangular), it was set for 220V on the back of the unit, and the power cord was the international type (two round male prongs), it did come with the proper adapter and instructions to step it down to 120V. WTF? Anyone else had a similiar experience? I'm thinking about sending it back and just picking up a different model locally.

Everything seemed to connect and work OK, but I'd appreciate any input on any cons of keeping it.

Should also mention that I'm pretty it's not a 'grey market' item.

I purchased it from the military's BX/PX website, so the fact that I got the overseas model isn't too surprising. I'm more concerned about the drawbacks/differences of such.
