I haven't had my x360 for a month because of a bricking problem. And I also ended up getting a refurb to replace my broken console.


At any rate, I kinda forgot how to set up the x360 like I had it before. In particular, every time I start it up, I have to manually sign into my gamertag. Is there any way to set this so that it will do so automatically? (I currently have it set so that upon startup, it will go directly to the dashboard).


Or is this something new with the new update?

in your console settings you can choose for auto sign in

I'm not sure if I'm just missing it, but I can't find anything in the Console Settings that allow me to auto-sign in. There is a category called "startup," but the choices there only determine whether you go to the dashboard, start a game, or go to the media center.


***Edit: I figured it out. It is not in the Console Settings. It is in the Gamer Profile management screen when you click on your gamertag.

Click on your gamertag on the page that displays when your 360 first boots up. The auto sign in is there, as well as other things like "show online or offline, and such.
