Well, I never could get my optical SPDIF on my Shuttle XPC Sk41G to work with my receiver, so I went to work on getting the ATI AIW Radeon coax SPDIF to work. Well, I got it working, but the problem is, the sound is out of sync!

When I say out of sync, I need to double check, but I believe the audio is actually about two seconds too early. Does this make sense, or could I just be wrong, and the audio is delayed? Anyways, it is definitely out of sync.

Has anyone had a similar problem with an ATI product, and if so, how do it get solved? This is definitely more difficult than I thought it would be.

ATI software is:

7.7MMC using the latest Catlyst driver for the AIW Radeon 32MB.

I also am using the 7.7 version of ATI's DVD player, with the audio output setup to go directly through the ATI Rage Theater (SPDIF on dongle) so that is how I got digital to my receiver to work.

I output to Akai Plasma via the RGB running a 848x480 desktop.

HTPC is Shuttle SK41G with XP2200+, 512MB DDR, Maxtor ATA133 40GB, and an older UDMA33 6X DVD ROM drive.
