FOX 49 in Portland - Problems Resolved?

Last Sunday I was getting some signal breakup for the first time with my Mits box when I watched Malcolm and X-Files. Haven't watched any Fox since then though.

I think the signal broke up on me one or two times during x-files but nothing major. Hopefully the problems are behind us...

Since at least last Tuesday it has been OK with me. Signal strength has been quite a bit higher after it was fixed. I normally get around low 70's but am now getting low 80's.

Well, I managed to watch Malcom in the Middle and X-Files last night. There were some initial breakups but then the signal "stabilized" and I didn't see any breakups the rest of the night.

Have you watched any 49 news? Same as you I watched Malcolm and X-Files and I only saw one little niggle at the end of XF. But lately what I've been seeing is fairly regular problems when I tune in to the 10:00 news. Not huge problems but short freeze ups of video that seem to be particularly bad when they do the weather for some reason...

Ron, I'll have to check it out, I sure like Stephany, she's a FOX (Pun intended)! She makes the news worth watching. ; )

I usually don't watch Fox 49 news, the sports guys kind of irritates me. plus I'm usually on my way to bed right after X-Files. I'll have to check it out.


On another note, I noticed some picture "issues" with OPB yesterday while trying to watch that pioneer "reality" show yesterday. There were these weird vertical stripes towards the left side.
