Fox HD channels when?

Not that I've seen... there has been one thread from an insider type about 'the channels are on on 86/87 (the full time location), oops, no, they aren't...' about a week ago. All we can assume is that the legal wrangling isn't over.


Note that the definite word from insiders who have seen them on the sats with (we assume) engineering access cards and posted pictures is that they will be on 86/87. 88/89 are temporaries for MLB only. Yes, it doesn't match the DNS channels, and I've not seen an answer why for that one....


I'm sure D* wants them there as soon as they can; the original live date was before the ALCS/NLCS!

Where did the old thread go?? I suppose into the cyber wasteland. BSchneider had been keeping us up to date on the status of Fox-HD e/w on the birds. Is it still up there? Word is that 86/87 will be the channels when it goes live.

Dont need engineering card to see the channel listings. Tivoweb on a HD tivo shows the channel 86/87 guide data but the channels cant be seen yet. Both channels are listed as FOX not FOXE and FOXW. It's probably just testing in there for directv engineers until it moves to the proper slot at 88/89 maybe when the playoffs are over? Wishful thinking I want to see OC in HD for the first time next week.
