Hello all,
I've got a second floor dedicated room and I'm about to begin framing the screen wall. I have an AT screen. The wall that I'm framing out for the screen will have access through a sliding door from a room behind the wall to adjust speakers and hide some gear...
The flooring is oak planks and I don't want to nail or screw anything to it, I don't mind screwing into the walls or ceiling.
Any suggestions about securing the bottom plate to the floor, I thought about isolating the bottom plate from the floor with a sill gasket and using door shims to give it a tight fit once the framing is screwed to the walls and ceiling...
