I talked with a few dealers of the Z1 and they said that you have to get the free lamp rebate from Sanyo off their website. Where is it on their website? Is the rebate offer over? Anybody know?

Probably no help, but a dealer in Canada offers the matinee version with a free bulb, 100$ canadian cheaper than the Z1. If you google Z1 canada, the first dealer is it.


Might turn out cheaper than in the us...



By the way, Boxlight (Matinee) offers a free ceiling mount and a free bulb on their website. Could not find a dealer that offers both. Could they be opting out, to offer it at a lower price?

Boxlight/SE only does that if you pay something resembling their asking price. They also deal off that price and deal away the goodies when they do.

I got mine from ProjectorPeople (dealt with Lisa Phillips, great service). They included the bulb in my order (no need for applying for a rebate). I believe the promotion is officially over today, so I would do it ASAP.
