Did you use the radio shack spl meter to measure or a mic?

anarkizt,

Seems like a very interesting program and you can't beat the price. I especially like the eq setup utility showing both the corrected room response and the eq slider settings.

I am having one problem that you seem to not be having. I cannot get the program to receive input from the mic that I am using. Clearly when hooked up to the computer the mic receives sound but this sound is not being read by Carma. I cannot find anywhere in the setup to adjust the input. Please tell me what your setting are.

Lain

Edit: Actually the Carma meter indicates that it is receiving a signal from the mic. However after there is never any frequency response graph generated.

First of all - the program seems to be very buggy. Java crap! :D

Anyway, I've tested the program on both my computers, and on one I had sound from the "mic", when I spoke into the mic I could hear myself from the speakers (when in CARMA). That computer has a standard crappy soundblaster.

On my other pc, the HTPC, I've got an M-Audio Revo and I CANNOT get sound from the mic here although the meters indicate that sound is being registred by the mic. I can record sound with the standard audio recorder in XP and play it fine though.

But in CARMA it wouldn't register any sound. I did the calibration but I didn't get any curves... So I tried it some more and then it worked! The only thing I played around with was the sensitivity on my Voltrcraft spl-meter.

Hope it helps...
