Recently I had a situation where my kid shut down the power strip that one of my ReplayTV's was on. I powered it back up and since then, I cannot get the ReplayTV to recognize any video coming thru my DirecTV receiver.

If I hook the RCA jack from the receiver to the TV, I get a picture.

I've tried Input 1 and Input 2 and also the Coax with no luck.

I unplugged the replayTV and let it sit for 5 minutes and tried it all again.

Are my inputs fried on this unit?

I doubt they are "fried". Do you still have recorded shows and channels in your Replay guide? Does the unit playback and otherwise operate OK??

If you go into setup are your inputs still defined correctly??

my recorded shows play fine and the inputs are configured correctly. I just get the dreaded

"no Video signal. Make sure you subscribe" message regardless of the three inputs I use.

People have had this happen before as I recall. I would set all the to "nothing". Save the changes. Reboot. Restore everything and see if it works. A reset might fix it but you'd lose everything.

I wonder if the procedure Jeff D found for jumping out of Quick setup might work here, where you kind of get the effect of a reset and still maintain your shows/channels.

I'd say do the "disconnect everything" reboot. Do this, press the power a few times let the box sit for 5 minutes and restart.

Everything should be fine. I don't see how the inputs could be fried by what happened. =)
