Trying to adjust this JVC 61z786 for grayscale with colorimeter. Only one set of controls are listed in service menu as:

r-drive

g-drive

b-drive

I know that normally when adjusting for GS there are 2 sets of controls. One for high end and one for low end.

When using this at 80% gray window and setting the x and y throws off the rest of the scale badly.

Is this normal to have only one set of controls? Or are we missing a service menu item?

If there is suppopsed to be only one set, then how do i properly set the grayscale?

Thank you

When dealing with one set of controls ... you compromise and use something like 50% to see how that works out. If not good enough ... try 40% ... 30% ...

It's a best fit design.
