I'm one of the ex-rptv fan "forced" by the dell deal to enter into the projector's world.

Now I know thanks to the great people in this forum that my lt 150 scaler is not one of its strengths, and that I kind to "have" to buy a progressive dvd player.

From what I understand, the skyworth has a vga output, Is this a definitive advantage when compared to the rp-91 or the malata?

Please help me to make the right choice.

Thanks !!

If nothing else, the VGA connection will make it nice and easy to hook up to your LT-150.

As far as quality, what do I know? I'm temporarily forced to watch the LT150 with an Svideo feed from an interlaced DVD player projected on a wall, and it looked fantastic to me. Guess I'll go nuts when my scaler and screen arrive...

IMO, could you give me some particulars on the scaler and screen you're getting? I'm trying to figure out how to get the best use out my 150 using a PS DVD player, and my Dish Sat system.

Which scaler and screen did you get, how much for each, and from whom did you purchase each of these components?

What size screen in inches, 4:3 or 16:9 format, and your throw distance.

Thanks for the info, Cheers, VB
