I am having trouble with the placement of my front center channel speaker.

I was looking at buying the panny PT50LC-13 RPTV. The top of the TV is to small to support my MK7 speaker. I have two options: Mount it on the wall behind the TV or put it directly under the TV on the stand. By putting it under the TV the wires would be hidden, but would I lose the sound quality by having the speaker at a low level (about 1' off the floor).

No you will be fine, lots of people run them on stands on the floor. Just angle it up to point at the listeners.

yeah... infact, alot of people are now opting for that option.. (CCs on stands)


.. cause of those stupid RPTVs and their 'thin' width at the top of the tv.
