Front Center Offset or Centered?

600 Views 5 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  singitloud
I once had someone tell me that I should have my front center speaker offset from center a little? I'm not even sure why he said this was the case, but I am hoping to get some feedback on this.

Thanks.

maybe he meant offset on the Y axis...tilted up or down or moved up or down...
No, he meant to the side somewhat.
never heard of such a thing...not sure what the benefits could possibly be
It's called a center for a reason :) The main purpose is to lock the dialog to the screen, so keep it center
When I say offset, I am only talking by a few inches... maybe half the speaker size.

Anyway, I may have to have it offset some due to my credenza situation.
