It fixes some stuff but check it out by running software update.

Front row no longer says the server was not found when its waiting for a large movie trailer or long shared video to load

Corrects bugs that prevented authorized Audible Audiobooks from playing

Fixes a variety of DVD compatibility issues

Purchased movies located in the Movies folder are now correctly recognized

Includes a variety of fixes for VoiceOver accessibility

Fixes a bug that prevented Front Row from reconnecting to shared video libraries after wake from sleep"

It also fixes issues with not recognizing certain video files in your Movies folder.

Which might those be?
Kevin, any improvements in video de-interlacing?

Definitely not .ts, .trp, .tp, or .m2t :(

Any chance of us embedding VLC in there where Steve might not notice it? :D

I was hoping you were going to make my evening. I go to pick up my new Mini or iMac at the local Apple store Saturday morning unless I can somehow sneak away tomorrow night instead.

I'm a pee cee convert, I'm new to this. Sad thing is, I bet if you could sit Steve down and have a few beers with him, he'd probably agree, he seems like that kinda guy.
Anyone found any detailed release notes on the update? I'm curious to understand the improved "DVD compatibility". My mini is not normally connected to the web so want to see if it's worth updating.

Thanks,

No, the DVD improvements relate to menu compatibility. 1.2.2 should work with many more DVDs.

Front Row was not showing valid movies it could play like m4v and dv files.
