Front Speaker replacement

I need to replace some front channel speakers and am trying to decide between the Polk RC85i and the smaller version, RC65i. Is the RC85i overkill since I already have a subwoofer for the deeper sounds?

The RC51i still has a good sized 6.5" main driver which should offer better dispersion which is a very good thing for any speaker but especially so for in walls.
They will be in-wall speakers in a large living room. I just didn't want to take the chance on blowing a smaller speaker if I have the volume turned up. The difference in cost is not a consideration. In my mind I was thinking I didn't want to blow a smaller speaker but I also didn't want to put in a large 8" speaker if I didn't actually need it in my particular setup. I have a 5.1 channel setup, so all the bass I would think should be going to the sub and not the front channel?? So basically I'm assuming the high/low separation by the receiver would prevent a blown woofer in a front channel speaker, but I wanted some expert/experienced opinions on how it all REALLY works. I really appreciate the feedback.
Another vote for the Hsu HIW-1.

Don't buy Polk only because you've heard of the brand before.
