I currently have a set of Bose 501 floor standing speakers that I would like to replace. At my local BB, they have a set of Klipsch F2's for $400. Is this a good deal and would this be considered an upgrade from my 501's? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Did you hear them? What do you think?

On that price bracket, audition options from this brands also:

PSB Alpha T1

AV123

Monitor Audio

Paradigm

Aperion

The Audio Insider (Swan)

The last 4, not sure if they have floorstanders in the $400.00 range.

Personally, I think that it depends,.... what series 501 do you have? I, II, III or IV,...probably not much of an upgrade,.... if you have the 501 series V, yes I'd consider it an upgrade.

Thank you all for your opinions. I ended up buying the Klipsch F2's, now I have one question. At the rear they have 2 sets of wire connections, one set says LF and the other set say HF, ( I am guessing this means high or low frequency)?? Which connections do I use to hook them up? Thanks!
