Hi Guys,

I have recently purchased the Tannoy HTS 101 system and I am very happy. Because of the positioning of our TV and seating area I think I would benefit from upgrading to a 7.1 set-up. I am aware that the HTS 201 tower speakers would fit great with the HTS 101 system but I was wondering if something such as the Wharfedale 9.1s would match well to be used as the front speakers, I suppose it is not a good idea to have different fronts than your center? I am a complete novice when it comes to sound so please excuse me.

There is also a HTS101 add-on set which includes another center, which I couldn't make use of with a 7.1 system.

The 3.0 add-on system is about £170 and the HTS201 Tower Speakers are around £300 - are there any cheaper alternatives that will match well with my system? I have a Sony STRDH820 AMP if that helps.

Any helps would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
