SOLD: Trinnov Altitude 16 with mic $13,000

Selling my less than one year old Trinnov Altitude 16 with 3D mic - looking to upgrade to an Altitude 32. The unit has the latest firmware as of 9/25/19, and will come in the original box.

Local cash pick up in North New Jersey can be arranged. Shipping to continental US only.

To those asking why I’m selling... i’m simply moving to the 24 channel unit...so staying in the Trinnov/JBL world. By far the best sounding and most configurable/flexible processor I’ve ever owned by far.

Do these have OSD for things like volume? Does your unit come with the Atmos software upgrade? And when HDMI 2.1 comes out, can we pay trinnov to buy an upgrade card?

No Trinnov model has any OSD - the video signal pass through untouched.

You can access the device GUI via a VNC connection - so with a computer or tablet (which is what I have in my theater) you can access everything - I’ll post a screen shot later

There are fully developed drivers for RTI and other control systems as well

Yes the unit has all advanced codecs - Atmos, DTS:X and Auro 3D, Trinnov has announced DTS:X Pro and IMAX Enhanced support as well through forthcoming firmware updates.

Regarding HDMI 2.1, it is not clear when this will be meaningful in terms of daily need, so no announcements on upgrades. Trinnov did offer hdmi 1.4 to 2.0 HW upgrades for Altitudes so they do have history in this area

In general you will find the Trinnov’s the best supported and upgraded device out there - that’s sort of the nature of its design
